The brief was to build an app for which residents and visitors in Manly, Australia can sign up to receive discounts on shopping, eating and leisure. They can use the app to locate participating retailers and restaurants in the Manly area to redeem discounts, which are added and managed by the Make it Manly team.
App users, discount listings and redemptions can be managed by the client team in the CMS.
Users can choose to be added to the ‘Leaderboard’ which lists the users with the most redemptions, in order to compete for prizes.
The app was launched on the App Store and Google Play in January 2025 and signups have been steadily growing.
